Andrea Holman, School-Based Counselor at Freedom Middle School
BA: Toccoa Falls College
Andrea grew up on the Alabama gulf coast but traded in her sea legs to attend graduate school in bitter
cold Chicago Illinois. In 2009 she earned a masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College.
Upon graduation, Andrea moved to Nashville, TN, to pursue warmer weather and a career in mental
health. She spent four years as a school-based counselor in Davidson county. During this time Andrea
found a passion for the awkward, quirky and wonderful world of middle schoolers. She is excited to
continue this work through Mercy’s school-based program in the Franklin special school district.
In her spare time Andrea enjoys warm weather, hanging with friends and her labradoodle, Nelson,
listening to good music, building furniture, and all things college football.
