Dorothy Bullard, Chief Integrated Care & Communications Officer

Dorothy Bullard oversees the Care Coordination Department at Mercy. She has been blessed with a well-traveled breadth of knowledge (from across the US) regarding community health programs and advocacy. Along the way she has developed specialized training programs and fine-tuned existing programs using her experience and skill set.

She is the survived wife of Louis Bullard and has two grown children, Alex and Ashley. She enjoys serving others by volunteering, spending time with her family and friends, traveling, ballroom dancing, music and movies. Her whole family has a commitment to creating a better immediate, national, and global community. This philosophy is a strong thread woven throughout Dorothy’s professional and personal life.

She is a member of Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, where she serves on the Greeters Ministry. Dorothy has strong roots in the community as a former member of the Brentwood Academy Board of Trustees and American Cancer Society advocate/speaker.

It is Dorothy’s personal belief that everyday people can affect big change with positive attitudes and small impacting behaviors. In agreement with anthropologist Margaret Mead, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
