What will $100 per month do for Mercy?
Provide year-long care for people like Mary.
Mary was in tremendous pain and “near death” on her first visit to Mercy Community Healthcare, where she was diagnosed with four chronic health conditions.
“No one would help me because I am uninsured. Finally, someone helped me! Mercy is the answer!”
At 57 years old, Mary is not eligible for disability, Medicare or TennCare. She was referred to clinic after clinic, and not one would help her. Finally she found Mercy.
She relies on the sliding scale fee program that Mercy offers, a service we are only able to provide because of the generosity of our donors. Your generosity will help pay for Mary’s office visits and for the lab work she needs to monitor her health.

At Mercy Community Healthcare, we live out the Word of God through the compassionate care we provide to our patients – all of our patients – regardless of their insurance status. But, we cannot do it without the generosity of donors like you, who also believe in our mission.
Your $100 monthly gift, which amounts to a $1,200 annual commitment, will help us provide invaluable care to Mary and more than 12,000 adults and children this year through primary care, mental health services and care coordination. More specifically it will provide:
- Approximately 6 patient visits (well, sick, counseling or psychiatric) for those in need of medical treatment regardless of whether they are insured, underinsured or uninsured
- Flu shots for 60 people who couldn’t otherwise afford one
- Immunizations for 5 children who need them in order to attend school
