I am certified to care for patients across the lifespan, and I truly enjoy working with patients of all ages, with varied diagnoses.
Mercy is a special place, where patients aren’t just a number. The opportunity to work in my hometown and give back to the community was something I never thought possible.
My family and I enjoy camping, cooking/grilling, and playing games (but only if I win).Angela Wiles
I am board certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. I believe in a humanizing approach to medicine, educating and promoting healthy practices with patients. I have worked in general medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, addiction and behavioral health.
To provide high quality healthcare to the underserved of Tennessee. I was initially intrigued by Mercy’s commitment to provide care for all regardless of situation, and I continue to be impressed every day at the passion of the men and women who work with this organization
Born and raised in Nashville TN, I live with my wife and son, enjoying hiking, woodworking and motorcycles.Dr. Nick Conley
My interests include general medicine, trauma, gynecology and sports medicine. I landed on primary care due to its diversity and because it allows me to develop meaningful relationships with my patients. I have interest in procedures and I worked previously at Vanderbilt oral maxillofacial surgery where I tended to facial trauma.
I chose Mercy because of their mission to serve anyone and everyone equally regardless of their insurance. I also love their amazing resources that they have all under one roof. I enjoy being able to work with other specialties including psychiatry, gynecology and pediatrics; because I always have a helping hand to best serve my patients. Their patient care coordination team is what really sold me. They help our insured and uninsured patients get the resources they need, so patients aren’t left to fend for themselves.
I was born in California and grew up in Metro-Detroit, Michigan. I love running, pilates, baking and using my mixologist skills to make tasty cocktails.Kelsey Huck

Upon finishing my residency with Vanderbilt, I stayed on with the Vanderbilt Internal Medicine residency program as a Chief Resident in Internal Medicine, which was a great year to develop my teaching skills in the medical field. My wife and I both have an interest in medical missions and were called to Peru upon finishing my Chief year, but due to a break of 1.5 years between finishing my Chief year and going to Peru in 2008, the Lord led me to Mercy. Little did we know at the time, but God had Mercy in mind for me to continue my career in the US once we returned from Peru in 2010. I have been at Mercy ever since. Why do you work at Mercy? I love the mission of Mercy – caring for all people, regardless of their ability to pay, in Christ’s name and Spirit – as well as the patients of Mercy. It has been a joy to work with Mercy for the majority of my post-graduate career.
I am married to my beautiful wife, Laura, and we have 6 children, each one a unique blessing. Although we are both originally from Ohio, we have loved our time in the middle TN area. We are thankful to be part of a wonderful church and enjoy the pastoral life as we tend to our sheep and cattle and many pets.Dr. Alex Brunner

“Dr.Maggie Taylor and her student today were so incredible and made the whole experience for my daughter a wonderful time.”
I’ve always been drawn to Pediatrics because of the joy and resiliency of kids. As a primary care provider, I love the idea of getting to follow my patients as they grow up and walk alongside them through all the ups and downs. I have a particular interest in pediatric mental health and caring for the whole child – body, mind and spirit.
From the moment that I first came to Mercy as an intern during my graduate training, I knew that it was a very special place. Everyone who works here cares deeply about providing quality healthcare and showing the love of Jesus. I love the reminder posted on the wall in the pediatric area from Mark 2:17 where Jesus says: “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Professional Description/Interest:
I counsel people as young as 5 years old and beyond. I enjoy helping parents or caregivers connect with their children or adolescents, playfully engaging with children through play and art therapy, and listening to adolescents work through their school/peer/family struggles. I also enjoy walking with a person through grief, loss, and life altering events, bringing calm and patience through crisis situations, and exploring the depths of spirituality and living in a world full of pain, while in all circumstances creating a safe, consistent, and encouraging environment for the individual.
Why do you work at Mercy?
I was inspired to be on staff after my year long internship in 2022-2023, due to Mercy being a place of integrating healing – mind, body, and spirit. From the medical team, care coordination, mental health, and the spiritual health of this organization, I believe my role as a mental health provider would be to serve people who desire to grow and thrive. Trauma is no stranger to humanity, yet it is the ability to mend and connect intimately to our wounded parts that brings healing to the world.
Personal Information:
While Mental Health was not my first career choice, it was the one that I made as a result that came from my own personal journey of healing from trauma. For self-care you will find me enjoying spending time with my husband, son, and our pets. I enjoy long trail rides by horse back in the parks, and steak dinners! Dancing, art, and music are areas in which I find most grounding, yet volunteering my time, talents, and resources to local charities and foreign missions to places like the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Belize, and Mexico fill me up most with joy. It’s all about His creation, and I am just happy to be on this journey for Christ!Tahliah Peek
I have served in family services/mental health and counseling for 20 years working primarily with children and families in the foster care system. My experience serving children and parents with trauma and mental health diagnoses provided me with the understanding necessary to connect with families, couples and individuals who are seeking and walking in recovery despite the wide variety of challenges life provides.
When we believe that we are created in His image we recognize that we are more than a random collection of thoughts, feelings and behaviors and that we are eternal beings with a body, mind and spirit. I chose to be a therapist at Mercy because we are committed to treating body, mind and spirit by the power of the Spirit of Jesus who lives in and through us.

While working in the banking industry as a manager, Steven spent a week of vacation time volunteering at a youth camp. The passage, “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” (Matthew 9:37) came to life. He immediately enrolled in a counseling program to pursue a Masters degree in surrendering to God’s call. He began his first full-time counseling job in 2000. Past experience includes serving as Associate Regional Director of Foster Care and Clinical Services Director for Omni Visions and Clinical Coordinator for LifeCare Family Services. “Sharon Stahler deserves special recognition!”
“Sharon Stahler she always so welcoming every single time, I am blessed to have her as a counselor.”
“Ms. Sharon is AMAZING. Our family is endlessly thankful for her guidance and caring heart towards our son.”
Before moving to Tennessee, she spent 25 years in Mississippi, serving as a licensed professional counselor for various organizations and later taking the role of president at Journey On and Speak Up, Inc. She is the recipient of the Mississippi Counseling Association’s “Clinical Mental Health Counselor of the Year” award for both 2000 and 2010.
I fell in love with Franklin on a solo road trip and applied online for a counseling position at Mercy. I believe strongly that deep within each of us is a True North pull, so I left my practice and home for the past 25 years to move to a town where I didn’t know anyone. Mercy employees have welcomed me and sharpened my skills, and it is a joy to watch them provide compassionate care for each other and our clients and patients.
In her spare time, Sharon enjoys renovating her 1969 Airstream travel trailer, camping, writing and spending time with her two grandchildren.Sharon Whitley Stahler
Since I was young, I have had an interest in hearing people’s stories- those they have learned (fairytales, folklore and family traditions passed down) to those that are created out of curiosity, life experiences and environmental and personal factors. I conceptualize cases through a narrative lens- utilizing CBT, narrative work and trauma informed practices to re-frame what has happened and create a future narrative that aligns with each person’s goals, personality and needs.
I have worked in the community mental health field in the state of Virginia and look forward to continuing to work in the mental health field here in TN.
Mercy’s faith based mission that encompasses the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) aligns with my worldview and I believe it is the best way to serve the community and fully address mental health needs.Heather Fraser

Prior to working at Mercy, I was a school-based therapist with Centerstone. I learned a lot during my time in the school setting, but I am glad to be in a traditional clinical setting. I enjoy working with children and adolescents, but I have experience with a wide range of populations.
I believe in wholistic healthcare and I like that Mercy offers that opportunity for its patients. All Mercy’s employees seem to have the patient’s best interest in mind which I think sets Mercy apart from the vast majority of other healthcare facilities.
I am married, we have one son and two dogs. I enjoy going to the movies, swimming and fishing.Chris Jewett
“Kimberly is an amazing listener and advisor. My whole mindset has changed with her guidance for the good. I’m extremely thankful for her and this organization.”
(Military Upbringing) Born in Sacramento, CA and then moved many times across the country, finally graduating High School in Wiesbaden, Germany.

I began my career working for a Children’s Advocacy Center providing therapeutic services and forensic interviews for children, who have been victims of abuse. From there, I worked within a crisis program supporting adolescents and their families, who were experiencing psychiatric emergency. I transitioned from responder life to supervising a team of responders throughout Middle Tennessee. Eventually I felt called to serve in a more therapeutic setting and discovered Mercy, where I work as a licensed clinical therapist. My experience have provided me with the ability to provide care through the lens of trauma. I believe in an integrative approach and individualizing treatment to meet the specific needs of the person I am serving. I enjoy working with various ages and populations.
I felt drawn to Mercy through its mission to provide excellent care to ALL people regardless of any circumstance. I also really love the integrative approach, body + mind + spirit, we have to provide support across systems for those we serve. The compassion and love of Jesus is reflected very obviously in all of the team at Mercy and something I feel very blessed to be a part of every day.
My husband and I just became parents in August 2022 and I have found that being a mom is my greatest joy in life. I love the act of helping, traveling and taking part in new experiences and learning from others I encounter along the way.Kimberly Digman
Healthy relationships take daily work. Sometimes, a compassionate, unbiased third party, such as a therapist, can help family members in their individual and corporate journeys toward mental and spiritual health. I’ve had the honor of providing mental health services in my home state of Hawaii and now here in Middle Tennessee. As a Marriage & Family Therapist, I provide services to individuals, couples, families and groups. I see patients of all ages.
My work is one of the many ways in which I serve the Lord. I identify with Mercy’s mission “to show the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing excellent healthcare to ALL.” We human beings are body, soul and spirit. Mercy’s integrated healthcare approach treats these three areas collaboratively and I love that.Elizabeth Lyons
I believe it is a privilege to come alongside individuals and families as they process through the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and other issues. I began my career in the mental health field at Youth Villages as a family intervention specialist. Since then, I have worked at Mercy both as a school-based therapist and a clinical counselor at our counseling clinic. I enjoy creating a warm and collaborative therapeutic environment for the client, who I have the honor of working with every day. I tend to take a client-centered approach and often utilize my training in EMDR and TF-CBT.
I work for Mercy because I value its faith-based mission and goal to serve the community through providing quality healthcare, psychiatric services, and clinical counseling.Abby West
My professional experience includes working with brave birthmothers and prospective adoptive families at Miriam’s Promise, an adoption agency and serving patients on some of their most difficult inpatient days as a social worker at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital.
I have always been a believer in integrated healthcare (body + mind + spirit) because I think that is Jesus’ model. Jesus did not only heal people’s physical wounds, He cared for their emotional, social and spiritual needs as well. Mercy’s Jesus-centered mission in providing integrated healthcare to all is what drew me to work here.
I live with my sister and my mini bordoodle (border collie/mini poodle mix) in Nashville. I wish my pup could be a therapy dog, but she’s too hyper! I am humbled and extremely grateful to work for an organization that is Christ-centered and prayer-driven. I stand by the mission of Mercy, to reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ, and I take it seriously in my interactions with clients, families and co-workers. I believe that there is hope and healing available to ALL, and I appreciate that my employer does too!
Despite being raised in Cincinnati, Ohio I always knew my heart was in the South. Growing up a loyal fan of all things Auburn, there was no question where I would attend college. Can I get a War Eagle?! After 4 refining years, my husband and I were fortunate enough to find ourselves in beautiful Franklin, TN. By God’s grace, we now have two children, who fill our days with so much joy. Being a mother is absolutely my favorite thing in the world. I also enjoy being outdoors, running, watching sports and spending time with the people I love most.Ashley Konstant
With a strong passion for working with children, I have spent the majority of my studies and training in spaces that help children and adolescents feel safe, valued and seen for who they are: human beings deserving of kindness, understanding and love. I am coming to Mercy from New York City, where I worked in-depth at an inclusive after-school program and summer camp with a large neurodiverse population in K-8th grade. I have previously worked in after-school programs and children’s advocacy centers in Nashville and the Chicago area, where I grew my passion for holistic support and advocacy for children and their families. I also have been a dancer and musician my entire life and work to incorporate those aspects into my work where it is deemed helpful in the healing process, with interest in aspects of Dance-Movement Therapy and Music Therapy.
I work at Mercy because I believe we meet every client where they are at – location-wise and emotionally – and work to holistically serve everyone. Everyone I have encountered in this community is passionate about the work needed to be done to best support every person who walks in our doors.
In my free time, I love to spend time with friends & loved ones, dance, sing, listen to music and read. I have also recently found a love for running, as I finished my first half-marathon in Central Park in February 2023. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and found a second home in Tennessee when I started undergrad at Belmont University. I am grateful to be a part of the Mercy school-based Team!Katie Dow
I work at Mercy because it provides me with the unique opportunity to make a positive impact on a critical demographic within the school setting. My work with Mercy has been a true blessing, as it allows me to be part of an organization where my colleagues share the same unwavering dedication and passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
I am a native of Brooklyn, New York, born to Haitian immigrant parents, and I was raised in Philadelphia. I have since found a sense of belonging and fulfillment in Nashville, which I now proudly call home. My educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Public Health, which facilitated my service as a Public Health Officer within the United States Air Force for a duration of five years. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This dual expertise enables me to provide evidence-based techniques and practical tools to assist students and individuals in effectively managing stressors and achieving personal growth and resilience.Samuel Alexis
I have developed and improved my professional goals over the past 20 plus years. I found my love of helping as a volunteer support for children of Law Enforcement and First Responders that suffered from PTSD. I soon found myself working with adolescents placed into the custody of the state. After having my first child, I decided to become a foster parent, adopting four young ladies placed in my home. I returned to my career and continued to work with children and families to provide counseling and skills in the home setting. I have also provided consultation for other clinicians working on their own goals to become licensed practitioners.
The love, compassion, and genuine support of all employees and our work with people.
There is a saying “If you want to know how to treat someone with special needs, watch their siblings, they will show you.” I am blessed to have the two most amazing boys; one who can overcome any obstacle in his way and another who has the heart of a saint. My mom is my biggest cheerleader and I never call myself a single parent because I have her by my side. If you want to find me in my free time, look for me outside!Dani Keenom
This year marks the beginning of my 11th year as a Marriage and Family Therapist. My work focuses on helping my clients to find balance in mind, body and spirit. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals. I am trained in EMDR and ScreamFree Parenting/Marriage. I have a special interest in trauma therapy and have focused in that area since becoming licensed. I believe this is where the Lord lead me when I was looking to leave my previous employer. I love working for Mercy. For the first time in a long time, I look forward to going to work each day. The people I work with have been welcoming and kind. I have never worked in an environment that is so warm and inclusive. I work here because I believe that Jesus is my Savior, and I am proud to work with others who freely express their faith in an environment without fear.

I began my career working with adolescents in a psychiatric inpatient hospital before transitioning to community mental health working with both children, adolescents, and adults. I have a background working with adolescent males within a residential setting who suffered from behavioral, emotional and other mental health issues before transitioning to Mercy Community Healthcare. I have a strong passion for integrative care which led to my recent certifications gaining a better understand of how physical health and eating habits can impact one’s overall mental health.
I work at Mercy because I believe in Mercy’s mission and have been able to witness employees demonstrate the mission statement day to day. I was attracted to Mercy’s opportunities for the school-based program and the opportunity for integrate care to support the whole person both physically and mentally.LaDona Pierce
I began my career in a high acuity in-patient psychiatric hospital before transitioning to a community setting servicing medical and hospice clients in their homes. I then developed a deep personal interest in serving children from “hard places” and therefore began building my skills through TBRI and other trauma informed care. I have a personal and professional desire to work with children and families to build attachment, safety, self-worth, and to improved coping strategies to deal with the big feelings and big reactions. I have continued to expand my training to now include DBT, CBT and brainspotting, so that my approach could continue to grow with the changing needs of my clients as they enter adolescent and teenage years.
I truly love Mercy’s mission and the desire to serve ALL people in our community. Mercy is an incredibly supportive place to work and my role as a school-based therapist allows me to serve many clients that otherwise would not have access to care based on transportation or other accessibility concerns.
I currently live in Franklin with my husband and 2 children, who are lucky enough to also enjoy the wonderful education setting found in the Franklin Special School district. I love working in the community where I grew up and continue to live, and truly feel invested in serving the diverse population that lives alongside me in Williamson County. I also enjoy kayaking, photography, camping, and getting outside with family and friends.Jennifer Dunn

Mercy is an incredibly supportive place to work and my role as a school-based therapist allows me to serve many clients that otherwise would not have access to care based on transportation or other accessibility concerns.
