25th ANNIVERSARY FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN FOR SCHOOL THERAPY
It’s time for school bells, new backpacks and a brand new school year. For many it’s also time to reunited with mental health therapists after the long summer. Mercy’s seventeen school therapists work with students to help navigate challenges that impact personal and social development as well as academic growth. Mercy therapists serve the Franklin Special School District and Marshall County schools and help develop essential life skills. The heart activity, pictured on the right, is a rapport building exercise, and a way for students learn more about themselves.
The cost per visit for someone without insurance is $125. Mercy offers a sliding fee payment schedule based on household income & size to make healthcare affordable. Mercy raises the difference between the amount the patient pays and the actual cost of their care through community donors, like you!
In 2023, Mercy therapists led 12,196 student visits! With this healthcare demand comes the challenge to raise awareness and funds to help cover the costs of a population in need. Will you help keep our area student population mentally strong and ready to learn?
