PATIENT PORTAL

Mental Health Services

Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Masters Level Therapists (who have a temporary license and are working toward mandatory training hours) and counseling interns are the types of mental health providers in Franklin and Lewisburg.

Mercy Mental Health serves children and adults, body + mind + spirit for true healing. Licensed therapists work with patients' primary care providers to care for the whole person. To make an appointment, please call during our regular business hours, 615.790.0567.

After Hour Care. Mercy Community Healthcare’s providers are dedicated to serving our patients 24 hours a day. If you are unsure whether an illness or injury that you or your child sustained requires emergent attention, please call our office at 615.790.0567. During office hours, you will be referred to a triage nurse. After hours, you will be referred to our answering services, where an on-call nurse and/or provider will speak with you.

Payment. Payment is collected at the time of service. Mercy currently accepts most insurance providers, but some insurance plans have restrictions that are the insured person's responsibility to know. For patients without insurance, Mercy has a sliding scale and cash payment options. Our standard price for counseling session (without insurance) is $125. To see a mental health intern, the price is $25.

Counseling Services

Mercy’s therapists coordinate and provide counseling services for clients and their families. These responsibilities include:

  • Team collaboration with primary care providers regarding treatment needs and therapy modalities
  • Team consultation with other providers for best outcomes for the whole person
  • Assisting clients in gaining access to other treatment services as needed

Psychiatric Services

Mercy’s psychiatric services were developed to enhance the quality of excellence in assessment, diagnosis, medication administration, evaluation and professional education. Mercy employs board-certified psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners who work with the Mental Health Service team and primary care to provide a quality team approach to mental health services.

School-Based Counseling

Mercy school-based therapeutic services provide onsite clinical therapy within Franklin Special School District and Marshall County Schools during the school day.
