Our Commitment to Your Care and Safety – Controlled Substance Prescriptions
At Mercy, your health and well-being are our top priorities. To ensure we provide the safest and most effective care, we have updated our policies for patients who are prescribed controlled medications. You may be asked to complete a routine urine drug screen (UDS) at your scheduled appointment with your psychiatric provider. We also ask that you bring your prescribed medications with you for a simple medication review. These steps help us provide you with the best care possible while following the latest medical guidelines. We understand that changes in policies can bring up questions, and we are here to support you. Thank you for partnering with us in your care—we are honored to serve you!
Mercy provides excellent care for everyone regardless of their insurance status with a focus on the underserved. We welcome TennCare (Medicaid), CoverKids, Medicare and most commercial insurance plans in addition to a self-pay program for uninsured patients. Mercy also has Certified Application Counselors who are able to help with Health Insurance Marketplace enrollment.
Mercy providers are board certified in their respective fields: internal medicine, family medicine or pediatrics.
