Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) is part of a comprehensive approach to treating substance use disorders by combining medication with counseling and behavioral therapies.
After Hour Care. Mercy Community Healthcare’s providers are dedicated to serving our patients 24 hours a day. If you are unsure whether an illness or injury that you or your child sustained requires emergent attention, please call our office at 615.790.0567. During office hours, you will be referred to a triage nurse. After hours, you will be referred to our answering services, where an on-call nurse and/or provider will speak with you.

MAT aims to stabilize individuals, reduce withdrawal symptoms & address the
psychological aspects of addiction, ultimately promoting recovery & preventing relapse. Here is the process:
Mercy Provider Appointments
for management of withdrawal symptoms and medical
care for the physical effects of substance abuse.
Mercy Counselor Appointments
to help guide you through your recovery and cheer you on.
Mercy Case Manager Check-ins
to discuss recovery, offer community resources and ensure next appointments are scheduled.
Meet Dr. Lucas Wilmore
Medical Director of Addiction Services
Lucas Wilmore, D.O., a specialist in family medicine, has joined Mercy Community Healthcare. Dr. Wilmore received his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine located in Blacksburg, Virginia. He completed a residency in family medicine at Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency in Bryan, Texas.
