Professional Description/Interest:
I am an active community member focusing on closing the gap in primary healthcare, mental health services, and social determinants of healthcare needs. I have over forty years of experience in criminal justice, healthcare, education, social service, marketing, events, and fundraising.
Why do you work at Mercy? :
It is where I can live out my calling and passion for serving and helping individuals and families in need. I love that we pray together and provide integrated, compassionate care that addresses the needs of the whole person – Body – Mind – Spirit to the glory of God!
Personal Information:
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends (especially family gatherings and Sunday Dinners), watching sports, listening to music (gospel and blues), ballroom dancing, and cooking. I believe that everyday people can affect significant change with positive attitudes and small positive impacting behaviors. In agreement with anthropologist Margaret Mead, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
